The Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award, 2002.

Henry S. Cole & Associates was named as co-recipient of the Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge "Designing Safer Chemicals" Award for 2002. Cole & Associates received the award as part of the Chemical Specialties Inc. team for CSI's development of ACQ Preserve®, the environmentally advanced arsenic-free wood preservative. Cole & Associates has helped the firm with environmental assessments, scientific advice, and communications. The Presidential Green Chemistry Award is sponsored by the United States EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, and by the American Chemical Society. Awards were presented at a ceremony hosted by the National Academy of Sciences.
